Subsequent training as a cinematographer at German television ARD.
Worked as a cinematographer for narrative theatrical and television features.
Began working as a cinematographer on documentary films.
Appointed to the film and television academy in Berlin. Four years as professor in the documentary division.
Began making documentaries for German television.
1978 studied business French at Grenoble University.
1980 move from Berlin to Paris. Since then, work as a freelance journalist, filmmaker and cameraman. Produced ca. 80 documentaries and news features with Maria-Rosa Bobbi for various German public broadcasters, as well as French television.
1990 Move to Aix en Provence.
2008 Return to Berlin.
