DESCRIPTION
This portrait is from a photo series „One year with a star (David Star)“ - Photo Projekt about a Jewish Emigrants living in a small city in the middle of Germany. The project was exhibited in the Kunsthalle Erfurt in 2018. The book „Ein Jahr mit dem Stern“ (translation from german: one year with a star) was published as well.
AUTHOR
I grew up in St.Petersburg, Russia. After studying documentary photography, I moved to Germany (Erfurt),
where i have been working on different photo projects since 2012. In 2019, I was allowed to be a student of MAGNUM photographer Gueorgui Pinkhassov in Paris - the experience that has given me one of the most important impulses in my photography so far.
