This is Mount bromo which is located in east java, Indonesia and probably most famous active volcano in Indonesia.
Around 90,000 of Tenggerese tribe that live in the mountain villages surrounding Mount Bromo since 15 century. they believe that the horses have a bond with their most sacred site and the spirits that dwell in the crater.
The horses are ingrained in all aspects of Tengger life .they wake up Everyday at 3 am to carry tourists across the Sea of Sand and on mountain tours in the region.
but Life here is tough for the Tenggerese tribes people and their animals. The weather is cold in this high altitude, the work manual and gruelling.
