Wildlife/Animals nominee

It was a day with dark clouds and strong wind and I know it will be not easy to get my shot. Yes, most of the time I go out and I have a clear idea what I would like to photograph today. I hoped so much that on this beautiful old tree, one day a eagle would sit there so I can make this photo which I had in my mind for so long. This young white tailed eagle was very alert, he is in a golden eagle teritory now. So he was sitting there and observing the surroundings for any other eagles. Another great moment for me to study and photographing this amazing animal. Clear for me that this shot has to be in black and white. This dark sky and old tree in combination with the dark colors of the young white tailed eagle was made to be black and white. Thank you nature!
