Abstract nominee

White paper strips were scored and folded to create a pattern of light and shadow. Photographed with my invented technique of using spectral light generated from a prism in sunlight to light and color various subjects. The spectral light provides the color and the light for the white paper strips. Since 2016, I have been experimenting with prisms and spectral light.

As an artist specializing in close-up and macro photography, I use the camera as an instrument of art and science. I delight in creating experiments that I can photograph in an artistically meaningful way.
