Abstract nominee

This is a photo of building reflections in a canal in Venice, Italy. The photo was taken during my trip to Venice in summer 2018. The colourfulness of the canal's water caught my eye and because of the abstractness of it, this photo became my favourite shot from the trip.

Mari Järvinen is a Finland based artist focusing on urban photography. Her work focuses on capturing the urban environment and its interesting details. She travels around the world taking close up photographs of buildings and different kinds of textures and surfaces.
