Architecture nominee

Geometric diversity and colour contrast characterise this series. I have been fascinated by the fact that only one building can show this playful geometric variety. It was a pleasure to photographically capture all the facets. The shadow play and all the small architectural details emphasise the geometric diversity and the colour contrast between facade and the spanish sky round off the overall impression.

Birgit Schlosser is Visual Designer and Photographer, with a strong preference for architectural and landscape photography, trying to capture them with a minimalist approach. She is particularly interested in modern, monumental architecture and its variety of geometric forms and extraordinary design. As landscape photographer she's looking for vastness, stillness, the sublime - and sometimes also a touch of surrealism.
