Photographer Marek Boguszak was born and still lives in Prague. Photography has been his great passion since his teens. He received his first camera at the age of twelve when he started to experiment with photography. He practiced all phases of the analog photography, from shooting through darkroom development procedures up to his own framing. He was greatly influence by the aesthetics of photographers such Josef Sudek, Ansel Adams, Alfred Stieglitz.
After graduating in mathematics at Charles University in Prague, Marek Boguszak worked as a sociologist and in 1990 he became an entrepreneur in the area of market research. Alongside, photography was his vocation, his passion and his work evolved from landscape to abstract photography. His major subject are sand dunes. He is creating dreamscapes which are entirely freed from the original subject and which present new meanings and emotions.
The artist has received many awards and honorable mentions with TIFA, APA, IPA, Px3, ND Awards, FAPA. He had solo and group exhibitions in galleries London, Zurich, Madrid, Prague, Monaco, and Milan and he participated in several online exhibition such The Visionary Projects, San Diego Museum of Art Summer Exhibition and others
