Where We Were Supposed to Meet (Series)
DESCRIPTION
"Where We Were Supposed to Meet", is my first indoor photography series, realized with different objects such as mirrors and so on. The patterns, ambiance I create relates to painting and cinema are quite interdisciplinary. I essentially work in appropriation of aesthetic codes where I can always divert to their own primary functions. My inspiration is invoked by visualizing a painting in my mind, where the opposition between geometric and deformed shapes attracts me. The absence of human figures enriches the narration and help it become stronger. The tension process reveals and activates the essence of my photography.
AUTHOR
Young swiss artist, graduated from HEAD-Geneva in June 2019.
I graduated with a bachelor degree in fine arts and during these studies I practiced photography as an extension of my interest in painting. I do a lot of indoor photography using a wide range of different objects: staging them in order to generate atmospheres. The main theme of my work revolves around the discrepnancy between photography( cinematographic and advertising) and contemporary art.
