There are many types of plants in New Zealand. In some ways, its diversity is chaotic and is challenging to photograph. When I am working with plants and I am looking for compositions, I try to break the chaoticness down into something that is more pleasing to the eyes. I look for simple organic forms in the plants and try to use them as leading lines.
All these images were taken using my Mamiya 7 and different types of film.
