DESCRIPTION
This is a photograph of the storm clouds that produced an EF1 tornado that hit Mott on July 12, 2019. The picture was taken ~20 minutes before the tornado came through Mott. I did take some pictures of the clouds around town beforehand, then I got to this location right in front of my home. I was outside for no more than 3 minutes to try and catch a shot before I ran back inside the house and got to the basement. The tornado lasted about 8 minutes and it did take out our garage. The important part though was that I got the shot!
AUTHOR
I am a photographer from rural North Dakota. I was born into a family farm and I have chosen that as my occupation. I have enjoyed photography since a young age and have only progressed in knowledge for the art. I have experimented with many different genres of photography, but currently enjoy Night Photography the most. Landscape and Self-Portraits are a close second. I love whenever my photographs create a story and conversation that is bigger than the photograph itself.
