Nudes nominee

Seven works make up the NIHIL. Seven is a sacred and spiritual number: it is the number of days of the creation in Genesis; the number of planets in the ancient solar system and the major constellations; the number of stars in the Pleiades cluster; the seven deadly sins; the seven musical notes; the seven plexuses or Chakra of the human body; the seven vertical channels of the Sephiroth in the Kabbalah; and the seven veils that must be removed, one by one, to achieve ultimate enlightenment. But the number seven also possesses the qualities of awareness in the psychic sphere and in dream. The NIHIL contains this wonderfully complex number within itself, and displays the achromatic void and the infinite narrative potential of the oniric dimension. The protagonist enters the scene, like an actress in her own imagination, and loses herself in a white space, represented as an empty, infinite, stage. She is naked, in her natural humanity, with a hint of stage make-up, to act in a place where no eyes are needed. ​Oriana Majoli was born in 1979 in southern Italy.After several shorts stories in digital, it ends in 2017, three years after the first shot, the project LVMEN OBSCVRA, followed by De Profundis(2018),the project instant polaroid PERSONA(2019), the work entitled NIHIL(2019), the polaroid project TESTAE(2020) and her last work In Sanguine (2021).

in the personal exhibition LVMEN OBSCVRA at Cremona (May 2019)
in the collective exhibition of the Artkeys award (Oct 2019)in which "De Profundis" won the First Prize.
in the group instant Polaroid exhibition CON+TATTO with TESTAE(Sep 2020) at Castelfranco Veneto-TV
