Nudes nominee

The Dark Side series is a photographic endeavor which offers a fragmented and dynamic take on the female body. Indeed, this work hinges on the juxtaposition of body fragments and darkness. These fragments, barely visible, make up the exposed side of this particular geography while the rising darkness slowly turns into an absence of detail. This dark part encourages us to reconsider the whole artwork as a new space where imagination and emotion are at the very heart of female mystery.

While travelling through vast desertic places, Xavier Blondeau has been questionning the place of individuals in their environment.Since 2009 and apart from his activity as a Senior lecturer, her has focused his photographic work on the individual. It is presented and structured in photographic series and aims at addressing that question very closely.
Since 2011, he has been very active and present in many exhibitions. His work is about intimacy being revealed as his various photographic series unfold.
