Open Theme nominee

I had only five minutes for this photo shooting because I knew that my iphone battery will freeze. I don’t use expensive cameras, I'm not a pro photographer but theatre artist, I had to use what I could - the imagination. But when I saw this magical place in Tatra Mountains in Poland two weeks before, I had a vision of Winter Unicorn. I knew that I couldn’t wait when fir the right equipment and skills. I had to chatch the Unicorn before it will escape to warmer lands. The another challange was that I was also the model at this session. So I had five minutes to put mask on, set up the phone camera and jump in front of it...

Sirena Kowalska [born Justyna Kowalska, 1978] – polish multidisciplinary artist: performer, theater director, screenwriter. Recently she switched dark stage for sunny beaches, meadows, forests, mountains, where she paints abstract art and make fine art photography.
