I have always admired people who spoke the truth such as Pablo Picasso. I no longer paint or draw due to personal reasons. Yet, through his artwork, I have found inspiration in another form of art that allows me to express my perceptions and emotion through photography. Picasso said, “The world doesn't make sense. So why should I draw pictures that do?” I don’t consider myself an artist, but a person who is able to see the world from a different lens. My pictures express my thoughts, feelings, views of the world, and desires. My photo collections are my diary, but to others, they are able to see my perspective with their own interpretation. I fell in love with his work, since his knowledge and perception are limitless regardless of time. His paintings were different from verbal or auditory expression. He created a story through his art. My photos are my words and vision of what I see of a different outlook of time and settings. it was just recently that I have started this expression of art and hope others can enjoy my pictures as they hold emotions many hide from one another.
