Arrived in Banff National park, Alberta in Canada on the cloudy day not expecting to get many good photos.
Went to the lakes at the vermillion to capture a picture of Mount Rundle and the surrounding area. No luck the clouds were too low, however the water was as calm as I had ever seen it. Therefore the opportunity of a panoramic presented itself.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am an engineer in oil and gas living in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
I started taking photos in 2012 and studied many classes, I have attempted to start my own photography business which has not taken off as of yet, I make no money from photography.
My daughters are ski racers and I started taking fast action sports shots and developed from there.
I have never entered a competition and have never allowed my work to be judged. Recently I took Tim Shields Master photography class and learnt the best way to be recognised is to enter competitions, so here goes.
I have a Canon 5D mark III which I purchased from new in 2012, I have looked after this camera and have added the lens and equipment to carry out my fascination into the world of photography. I am currently saving for new equipment to carry out my obsession.
