DESCRIPTION
On this small concrete platform on the sea of Genoa, people come to admire the sunsets.
This was a day with various climatic changes where we went from rainy weather to large areas of clear skies.
In the precise moment that a father and his daughter looked out over the sea, I was lucky enough to photograph them while they were intent on enjoying the view.
I like this image for its strong noir hues with a large overexposure area that makes one think of a glow.
I inserted an accentuated vignetting to give this shot a somewhat mystical flavor with vague retro shades.
AUTHOR
I am a fifty-eight-year-old amateur photographer specializing in landscapes and travel, residing in Genoa, Italy. I began photographing at the age of sixteen, using my old analog camera. In 2012, I purchased my first digital camera, which marked a significant step forward in my photographic equipment.
Every day, I strive to improve, drawing inspiration from great photographers. I have a particular passion for landscape photography and street photography.
