I spent a week in Havana Cuba walking around with my camera.
Nothing was planned in advance, I went to explore and discover the streets and meet the people.
These are just a few of those wonderful moments captured.
On the wall for boxer it reads:
El boxeo me ha mantenido fuera de las calles, me impide fumar y beber y me da algo que hacer.
(Boxing has kept me off the streets, it prevents me from smoking and drinking and it gives me something to do ).
Young boy ocean: Spontaneous smile as the crashing ocean waves splashed his back.
Dancers:Senior citizens meet in a park to dance.
Musician:Music is life for this man.
Newspaper Man: He was so very proud to show me he sells English newspapers to tourists.I asked if he reads English,he does not.
I found the headline of the newspaper very interesting as it probably reflects much of what this man has lived through in Cuba.
