This image represents a huge shift in my fellow locals. Monterrey, Mexico is one of the most polluted cities in Latin America. Sure, is a city with a long path yet to walk towards a more sustainable lifestyle, but in my heart, I feel this was a great start. Never had a climate strike hosted so many people and so much passion.
We were heard, some students were invited to the state’s congress and most of the petitions we requested were accepted.
My heart is dancing and I feel hope.
