Photomanipulation nominee

"Diagnosis" is a surreal self-portrait composite. The piece portrays the rush of emotions I felt when diagnosed with breast cancer.

I’m a photographer currently based in Frisco, Texas. My artistic journey has recently centered around photomanipulation and conceptual photography. The past year was focused on a 52-week self-portrait project creating surreal scenes with original images and textures. I have had the pleasure of participating in numerous juried shows, including local, national and international exhibitions. I was included in the Fifteenth National Photography Competition at Fotofoto gallery in NewYork where Dan Burkholder was juror. In 2019 I received honorable mention at the national juried “Schwa” show at Emerge Gallery in Greenville, North Carolina, and placed second in the “Plano 125” exhibition.
