The aftermath of hurricane Irene is crashing on the shores of Kitty Hawk beach 2011. It's early morning and I'm out there to catch the shifting light after last night's storm. I'm pretty much alone. A few birds and an occasional jogger keep me from solitude when this lonely dog comes trotting past me.
I capture the moment from a distance and combine it with a montion blur background I shot only moments before.
