2018 was the hottest summer ever recorded in South Korea. I was studying in Seoul at the time, and had just bought my first 35mm film camera.
Despite the high temperatures and humidity, I still wanted to explore the city, and so I took the opportunity to observe people as they tried to cope with this extreme weather.
Normally, Seoul is a fast-paced and restless city, but everything slowed down that summer, and people just enjoyed themselves, almost in resistance to the heat.
