Wildlife/Animals nominee

Wild doe in the Lago Vista, Texas area. I put the bowl of corn seed down, stayed back and left her to slowly approach it. I remained as still and quiet as I could. This shot is significant to me because it captured this moment of serenity between her and I- as though the rest of the world stood still for a split second, and she looked at me unafraid with a level of understanding in her eyes.
