Subject and context:
Corythoichthys flavofasciatus. Common name: Netwrok pipefish.
This pipefish lives between corals from low tide line to a depth of 25m. Ovoviviparus. The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail.
Story:
This picture has been taken in Moalboal (Cebú Island - Philippines), this pipe fish is very elusive and shy so it took me several tries to achieve a good portrait.
