Macrophotographies of glass objects
The metamorphosis of sand into glass remains one of the most important and oldest discoveries.
This chemistry, perhaps one should say alchemy, which associates a mineral matter with fire and air has revealed to mankind an infinite potential of shapes and colors.
The meeting of this material with magical properties and the macrophotography opens a new dimension to creation. The images of a usually invisible reality associated with the games of transparency and light project us into a universe whose rationality eludes us.
Here, nothing is fixed, everything is decomposed and recomposed into an infinity of bodies that confuse our search for certainties and exalt our imagination.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Born in Rennes (France) in 1977, Fanch Galivel began photography at the age of 14. It is in the small photo lab installed in the attic of the family house that he will be pleased to see his first black and white images appear. This passion for the image and his curiosity will lead him to become a photographer in 2003.
In parallel to the reports, he develops a more conceptual personal work through abstract artworks inviting the viewer to immerse himself in imaginary landscapes.
The INSIDE GLASS series, produced in collaboration with the Bréhat glassworks, has been exhibited at the Robert Tatin Museum.
