Abstract nominee

These sets belong to a work started in 2016 in the abandoned marble's quarries of the Apuan Alps, where Michelange used to pick his marble.My first visit of a quarry dates back to 2013 as i was hiking in the Apuan Alps.A wave of undefinable feelings and thoughts overwhelmed me.So In october 2016 i resolved to climb up to one of these quarries with my camera,and at the entry i became a prey of bewildering emotions.A mixed of feeling of fright and sadness came over me.It was like being in a cementery though there were no tombstones.The wasteland of desolation and decay surronding me was haunted by shadowy figures (Men had worked hard and died there). So when i carried out my project to photograph these quarries, i came to think that the eye of my camera would catch the unfading scars of these quarries , so that the resulting work could be read as a long meditation on solitude, a fragmented evocation of my personnal story.These specifics set are like a Rorschach test where you can see .....
