Evonne Bellefleur is a young artist practicing in Toronto, Ontario. After completing her photography degree at Sheridan College, Evonne has spent the past six years pursuing a career in the commercial photography industry and she now plans to concentrate more on the creative and expressive aspects of her practice. Evonne's work speaks to the play of light and its capacity to transform everyday objects and spaces. Through mediums of both painting and photography, her work emphasizes the organic simplicity of her subject matter through a focus on monochromatic colour schemes and the interplay between positive and negative spaces.
