Max Hart Nibbrig is since 2014 working as an autonomous photographer. Although he never finished an education in photography he is currently working as an architectural photographer. His educational background lies in architecture and he is autodidact photographer. He is currently working for architectural offices around Europe, where he documents finished and unfinished buildings. Next to his commissioned work he also explores topics by himself. In his autonomous work he dedicates himself to documenting and exploring urban topics which inspire him. In the series Borderland Oasis (2016) and Desolate (2017) he explores border conditions from expanding cities. Whereas in Equatorial (2018) he focuses more on the architectural consequence of in post colonial region. In Carved (2016) and Fundament (2017) he documents the atmospheres of contemplative spaces. Alongside his photography he uses narratives to structure and explain his series.
