Hong Kong is one of the busiest cities on earth. It also has one of the one of the largest mobile device use per capita in the world.
As I go about my daily life I notice a huge amount of people in Hong Kong preoccupied with their mobile phones-grown men playing games on their phones, mothers ignoring children desperate for attention whilst internet shopping or teenagers frantically scrolling through Instagram pages on their way to school.
I see this modern behaviour and obsession as indicative of human beings search for happiness albeit through the flawed way of distraction.
This series shows a lone figure in familiar pose with head bent down looking for directions on his phone even when he has reached the summit of his search.
