DESCRIPTION
Love and feeling is important, especially today, more than ever. I believe that relationships are alive, and the light shines on those that have that special energy.
AUTHOR
I picked up a camera for the very first time at the age of 24, and almost immediately felt a visceral connection. With the blessings of my family, I quit my day job in Sales and Marketing and took the decision to pursue photography as a career. I owe an immense debt of gratitude to my mentors, Mr. Behlihomji and Mr. Hiroyuki Yamamota for their wise counsel and guidance.
Over the years, I’ve worked on assignments with leading advertising agencies and magazines and participated in various exhibitions - my first solo show being at the NCPA, Mumbai, in 1993. My personal and commercial work has been recognized in the form of several national and international awards.
I strongly believe that no one has a copyright on knowledge. In an attempt to walk the talk, I’ve been an educator for close to 25 years.
To sum it up, there is an empty space within me that constantly needs to be filled with images and stories. A profound saying from the Hebrew holy book, the Talmud, aptly describes my mantra: “We do not see things as they are; we see things as we are.”
