A composite image merging a fashion model and an impressionist painting. The model wears a hand-beaded gown with floral ornamentation that evokes the impressionistic meadow in which she stands. Her physical presence, which arises from a reflecting pool, bridges the separation between the real world and the imaginary world of the impressionist painting, forcing the painting's fantasy garden into physical existence.

I am primarily a fashion photographer who is influenced by fine art. I practiced law for over two decades, but throughout that time, I was a dedicated amateur, building my own darkroom in the film days, and moving into digital as that medium matured. When I retired from law, I opened my own fashion photography studio in Houston, where I work for fashion designers, fashion show promoters, and a few commercial clients.
