Within a context of deforestation of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, I seek, through a digital process influenced by cyanotype and painting techniques, to emphasize details of vegetation in common scenes of nature, which normally go unnoticed in a closed forest, but that reveal the delicacy and perfection of the flora that surrounds us. The intention of the work, in addition to highlighting the natural environment and its beauty, is to embrace the technology currently available in image editing software and to propose a reflection on the use of these in complement or replacement to traditional artistic techniques.

Antonio Salaverry is a Brazilian photographer born in Rio de Janeiro, 1986. He lives in Belo Horizonte, but remains in transit and in search for the best compositions for his works. Graduated in engineering, he decided to dedicate himself to personal projects since 2019 and has been awarded in several international and national competitions and festivals only in the year of 2019.
