Landscape nominee

While traveling through the Western U.S., I stumbled upon the eerie town of Atomic City, Idaho—home of the world's first fatal nuclear reactor accident (1961). On a grey, snowy day I wanted to capture the feeling of time standing still. To me it looked as if nothing had changed since 1961—as if the accident had just happened, and all that remained were a few houses and a bar.
