DESCRIPTION
Bald Cypress trees in Lake Caddo Texas in the early morning. The trees standing in front of the darker swamp interior, combined with the absolute black mirror reflection brought the darker fairly tale stories to mind, in which there is always evil lurking deep inside the swamp. Taken as a hand held shot using Pentax K-1 and Pentax 70-200mm lens. Removed some clumps of Giant Salvinia (an invasive grass) in the foreground with Photoshop to maintain the mirror-like surface image.
