Night Photography nominee

It's been 4 years from the moment I imagined this photograph,and it took me almost a year to find the perfect location, a small island of trees amid miles of open land , and a constellation of fireflies flying through a small, secluded forest. From there it was another 3 years of testing and study to find out how to photograph fireflies, their season was short, and they only fly for half an hour after twilight. And finally after all this time, in the last weeks the firefly season i was able to take this VW van to this little forest, as fate doesn't always help us, on the way it rained a lot and we got there in the middle of a storm at night. he rain stopped and it was already dark and soon the fireflies would disappear, we positioned the van running through all that mud, and finally got the picture, which was conceived 4 years ago inside my head.
