Bishōnen (美少年) is a Japanese term literally meaning "beautiful youth" and describes an aesthetic that can be found in disparate areas in East Asia: a young man of androgynous beauty. A simple series of portrait I did for a friend on a boring Sunday morning whilst we were at the beach. No make-up, no hairstyling, no flash, reflectors or LED lighting. My friend is just so beautiful...
