Nudes nominee

Natalia was always scared of her nudity. We all are. Nude body is taboo. A good girl should never show too much of her body. This message, deeply rooted in our cultures and beliefs, has conditioned not only our behaviour, but also acceptance of our body. Although young and beautiful, Natalia has troblems with accepting and loving hers and this photoshoot was a therapy to make her feel comfortable in her own skin and to prove to her that nudity can be a piece of art. We chose forest as a location to further underline the fact that nudity is the most natural and harmonious way of being. We shouldn't be scared of it, but learn to love the liberation that comes with it.

My name is Iga. I’m a dreamer, wanderer, photographer. I photograph what I feel and how I feel it. I create what my imagination shows me, illustrate the reality in a way that reflects my inner world. My works show the things that are dear to me – relationship with nature, sensitivity, complexity of heart and mind. There are things that cannot be put into words and photography helps me to express them.
