everyone has ever thought about what it feels like to
to be buried alive. I experienced it. I was 13 minutes
completely paralyzed, deaf and blind, with no hope of rescue, ready
to die.
During a ski tour in Norway, I was spilled by an avalanche.
THE avalanche caught me without warning
behind, tore me, buried me. Then everything was dark and quiet. I
felt no pain, thought I could just get up and that
Shake off the snow. But I was completely enclosed, unable, too
to move only one finger a millimeter.
I had no idea how deep I was buried in the snow, I knew
not, whether the other participants of the ski tour were also spilled.
After several panic attacks, I accepted the situation. We all
have to die ...
