DESCRIPTION
From high above Central Valley, California, almond trees in full bloom have the appearance of delicate pom poms. I was drawn to this plot and wanted to photograph it from overhead to show the orchard’s hedgerow configuration and varying tree pattern. This method of planting alternating tree varieties is to prevent pressure from diseases and to ensure optimal growth.
