Scarlett is an attempt to capture a family portrait with lots of different emotional layers. It was taken in a pub in Hackney during my friends birthday. His daughter, Scarlett, is surrounded by her mum, dad and his (and mine) childhood friends. It was a very special moment to be reunited with everyone.
In this photo, I tried to bring some of the intricacies of post-production into my in-camera effects. My passion for Lomo, medium format, cameras lies in the ability to do complex multiple exposures. Here I aim to capture different layers of human emotion with every exposure.
