Photojournalism nominee

This series is about environmental awareness. We must not forget what happened on April 26 th 1986. I traveled to Tschernobyl and spent one day in the exclusion zone. This place is so sad, frightening and deathful on the one hand and on the other it is so quiet, lovely and full of nature. You can't see or feel the dangerous but the danger is already there. I visited Valentina, of the self settlers, she came back after the evacuation an still lives there in the exclusion zone.
