These four images from the series ‘You will always Be’ are composed solely of water in fusion with light captured at Apollo’s Fountain in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. They all come from the same digitally destructured and restructured photograph used to create a visual representation of energy flow, passage through time and space and the continuous cycle of Being.
The series alludes to stages of our evolution from our embryonic beginning to physical demise, from the release of our energy to the indestructible energetic trace of our existence.
In line with reflections on the relationship between matter and energy, and the premise that energy cannot be destroyed, the metaphysical concept is that we may no longer Be physically, but we will remain present in the form of the unique energetic essence that is our life story.
