My Grandmother kept this bed linen for 20 years. She always had idea: some things are too new, too beautiful, too good for use here and now(for example, clothes, glassware, bed linen) and they should wait for "the best times". My granny is 73 now and she has dementia for 5 years. She forget about a million different things during the day. She forgot about this linen.
I made this image to remind myself how important it is - to live here and now, to use all things around me, to use all opportunities on the way. This linen is like a symbol and reminder: dont put away for later your life.
Why I made the dress from this linen set?
Because it`s the same nonsence like keep it many years in a cupboard.
