When the daylight goes out I think in something different, better for my family will happen when I return from work the next day. I think about how long I will have to wait to have permanent light in my life. For now, I have to resign myself to just wait and keep working.
The bad situation of Cuban Guajiro (man from the countryside) about the payments of the Cuban Government was what inspired me to take this series. The Cuban government keeps 90% of the production profits and, and also, puts a price on the products that it buys from the Cuban Guajiro. These series were taken in Consolación del Sur in the province of Pinar del Río, Cuba in a place I belong. A place until now I writing this description still without electricity and other many basic human rights.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am a Cuban photographer who has left his country to become a better profesional and to have a freedom environment for my work. I usually get carried away by the nature and its compositions, so I love landscapes and bodegons, but I have my touch of simplicity when I do portraits. I always try to search in the deepest part of my being when I write with images the message I want to convey in each of my photos. I feel very Cuban, lover of nature and the simplest things in life such as the stem of a flower or the gestures of a chiled.
My desire is to travel around the world and know many cultures and places.
