How I feel (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Taken during 2020 in Italy. A series of self-portrait, my brother helped me to take the images and he pushed the click button on camera. i take the pictures because this is the only way to handle with my emotive state, I need to tell how i feel and what I see in my imaginary world, to tell that stories. for me the creative part is my imagination where i try to create a concept that can explain my feelings, emotions, conflicts and dreams. often i read this phrase on web (Eyes are useless when the mind is blind) so i cover my eyes and in each photographs i tried to explain what I see in my imagination and HOW I FEEL.
AUTHOR
My name is Qaiser Nadeem, born in Punjab Pakistan in 1985, and I am artist and conceptual photographer based in Italy. My photography journey began in 2013, and after a few years of experimentation, I discovered a path that led me to explore the depths of my inner self.
At first, I was both amazed and overwhelmed by this process. But as I ventured deeper into my psyche, I faced increasingly difficult steps. Confronting my fears, limitations, and personal demons was a complex and painful experience. Each discovery seemed to break me into pieces, but there was a strange beauty in that pain an undeniable fascination that kept me moving forward.
This journey has made me stronger, both as an artist and as a person. As an introverted individual, expressing emotions and communicating have always been challenging for me. Photography serves as my medium for articulating those elusive feelings that often elude verbal expression. Through my work, I delve into the depths of my psyche, using imagery to bridge the gap between my inner world and the outer realm, inviting viewers to explore the intricacies of human emotion and introspection.
