Growing up, colour meant everything to me and I wanted to show exactly this.
Palette 1 - True Beginnings - talks about my beginnings as a photographer and how these colours truly influenced my early works, mainly due to the fact that I shot outdoors, in natural light, and people with melanated skin tones.
Palette 2 - Trial of Triads - Forming a triadic color palette, this piece was to show that some things do not immediately gel together but end up working perfectly when placed in the right proportions.
Palette 3 - Monochromatic Memoirs - Recognizing that colour is my greatest asset, I needed to also acknowledge where I would be without it. I love shooting in black and white as it tells a story as plainly as could possibly be.
Palette 4 - Dream-In Bi-Color - is a continuation of how I feel like my monochromatic work speaks volumes with shadows and lights. This is where I can truly feel and express the authenticity in my work.
Palette 5 - Earth - Feeling like I was losing touch with reality as I created more, this palette showed me how to stay true to my roots and break free
