Conceptual nominee

This photo represents a dark and hidden emotion. Envy makes me feel bad, mentally and physically. The snake represents that evil while the expression on the face says "I dare you", as I believe that envy and competitiveness go hand in hand.

My name is Yaiza and I'm from Spain. I haven't been working behind the camera for long, although I have worked as a photo model for 6 years. As I didn't feel any emotion seeing the results of those photographs, I decided to make my own self-portraits and express my emotions in them, telling stories and creating characters out of them. I have discovered a therapy based on art, where I can explore my fears and joys.
