It's Just A Jacket. (Series)
DESCRIPTION
As an artist, I believe one must be able to create art with whatever is available to oneself. I do not have the money or equipment that professional fashion photographers use. I don't have the privilege to photograph top brands or celebrities, but I do have an artistic mind. This leads me to search in thrift stores for cheap affordable clothing that can be appealing. It is less about the brand and more about the look. Also, since I do not have a studio or equipment. I hang up tablecloths that I have available as my backdrop. My light source comes from one light that cost me $40 max. I want to prove myself as an artist and show my ability to create regardless of what is in front of me. I use my girlfriend as my model. I believe that anyone can be a model and it's up to me to provide and give directions to produce appealing images. What you see is a confidence in my model and the freedom to explore the possibilities with a piece of fabric. This outfit was 25 dollars. I also did her eyeshadow, because I don't want to rely on others.
