Fine Art nominee

Taken over several weeks during covid lockdown. I used acrylic paint for the glass - black and washed out hues of red and green. For the body I used black body paint to act as an extension of the art piece. The shooting itself was tedious and slow and had to be completed over multiple sessions since for each shoot I would get cuts and bleed from the glass. For taking the photos I initially used my foot on a remote shutter trigger but later ended up with a DIY setup with home automation to be able and take photos by voice.
