If we made a literal translation of "Yuki-tsuri" into English, it would be "Hanging Snow". Hanging Snow looks like rope umbrella, in order to protect mainly pine tree against the weight of snow. They must acquire more professional skills to set up Hanging Snow.

Even in the middle of Tokyo business district, they have been decorating Hanging Snows to protect the trees. However, it has had no snow in Tokyo for last 2 years. Hanging Snow is becoming to be only a part of seasonal scenery in winter, while losing the original functionality to protect the trees against heavy snow.
